The Chicago Cubs (1-2) will face off against the Philadelphia Phillies (1-2) this afternoon at Wrigley Field in Chicago. The game will start at 2:20 p.m. ET and can be watched online through live stream via the link provided below (free for subscribers).

The Cubs are looking to defend their home field versus the Phillies today. The Cubs defeated the Pirates by the final score of 3-2 yesterday. Pirates' starter Wandy Rodriguez suffered the loss for the Pirates. Cubs' starter Jason Hammel (1-0) got the victory for Chicago yesterday. The Cubs hope today's starter Travis Wood can pitch their squad to a victory versus the Phillies starter Roberto Hernandez. Phillies manager Ryne Sandberg returns to Chicago, a place he has fond memories of as a former Cubs All-Star player. Sandberg was the NL MVP back in 1984. In addition, Sandberg was inducted in to MLB Hall of Fame in 2005. In addition, his number was retired by the Cubs on August 28, 2005.

"Wrigley Field is a special place to me and my career, so going back there and going back in this capacity [as Phillies manager], I'm very anxious and excited about that," said Sandberg to reporters.

The Phillies lost to the Rangers by the final score of 4-3 on Wednesday. On Wednesday, Phillies closer Jonathan Papelbon suffered the defeat after allowing a bases loaded walk to end the game.  The Phillies hope today's starter Roberto Hernandez can lead their squad to a victory versus the Cubs starter Travis Wood.
