With Apollo Nida's sentencing begins now, September 10, Real Housewives of Atlanta star Phaedra Parks surprisingly copes very well as seen in her recent night outs with friends. Rumors about the couple's divorce have been spreading since the husband joined the reality TV show, but Parks stayed mum about the issue.

Apollo is serving eight years of imprisonment due to several counts of fraud. When he was asked whether he thinks his marriage can survive the trial, he said in an interview at Atlanta B100 radio show that it's doubtful especially that his wife did not attend the court's sentencing.

Parks' husband was also previously convicted of a felony for six years due to auto loan theft but the 35-year-old RHOA actor said that ultimately, it was his children that he failed. He also admitted that he lost focus in leading a straight life of not committing any crime again when he first got out of prison.

Speaking with Forbes, he explained that joining Bravo TV's Real Housewives was his way of supporting his wife. "When I look back on my five years on the show, I don't regret being on the show. At the time, I thought I was supporting my wife and her role on the show. Now that I look back on where I am now and where I came from, I wish I had taken a step back and truly figured out how to determine a storyline without causing any controversy," he said.

Nida won't be seen in the next season of RHOA but it is rumored that he will be playing a cameo role for Netflix's Orange is the New Black.
