'Person of Interest' Season 5 Cast, Spoilers: Sees Mr. Finch In A Bad Position? Set To Release In Summer 2016
With "Person of Interest" season 5 returning in 2016, it is speculated that the sci-fi drama series is going to be released in summer and it will see Mr. Finch in a bad disposition.
CBS released its upcoming series schedule in spring 2016, according to io9; however, it did not include "Person of Interest." This entails that CBS could air the 13 episodes of season 5 in March or April 2016. It has also been noted in the schedule that "Under the Dome" and "Extant" have been canceled, giving way to a follow-up for the horror series, "Zoo."
A reason for the delay was the fact the the series was not produced in-house by CBS. It is a product of Warner Brothers Television that has been licensed for the channel, according to International Business Times.
Meanwhile, fans have had a glimpse on the fate of Mr. Finch in the upcoming season 5. At New York Comic Con, Michael Emerson, who plays Mr. Finch, said that his character was in kind of a bad place. The actor added that all the years he had been programming, he had been trying to keep the relationship non-personal, cool, professional.
Emerson added that the relationship between a human and intelligent machine was what people were going to negotiate some day, suggesting that it will be part of the series' storyline in the future.
The "Person of Interest" cast and crew are part of the honorees at the People's Choice Awards 2015, with the series also nominated for Favorite TV Crime Drama.
Based on rumors, it is assumed that "Person of Interest" season 5 is set to be released in summer 2016 for the time being.
