'Person of Interest' Season 4 Spoilers: Monique Curnen, Cara Buono are Show’s Femme Fatales; New Season about ‘War’ [TRAILER]

CBS' police drama series 'Person of Interest' left fans with a major cliffhanger in its third season finale, but fans can expect more unfortunate events when the show returns in September. During the Comic-Con panel discussion held in San Diego, executive producer Greg Plageman teased that the next season is packed with more action, drama, and plot twists.

"This season is about war," says Plageman, "There's another machine in charge, and I think all of our guys will find themselves severely challenged." The cast members who attended the press conference includes Jim Caviezel (John Reese), Kevin Chapman (Detective Fusco), Michael Emerson (Harold Finch), Sarah Shahi (Sameen Shaw), Amy Acker (Root), and showrunner Jonathan Nolan.

New characters will be unveiled in the next season including roles for Monique Curnen and Cara Buono. Curnen will be playing Captain Felicia Moreno, though details of the character have not yet been revealed provided. The 36-year-old actress is also known for her roles in other TV shows such as 'CSI', 'The Mentalist', 'Lie to Me', 'Revenge' and 'Hawaii Five-0'.

Matt Roush from TV Guide agrees that 'Person of Interest' is definitely one of the "more stimulating and original dramas out there," but because television programming is continuously evolving, other genres like sci-fi tend to dominate the air time.

'Person of Interest' premieres on September 23 every Tuesday night at 10 PM on CBS. Below are interview videos of cast members on the show.
