Paula Deen "I Dont Need a Comeback, I Never Went Anywhere" After N-Word Scandal [WATCH NOW]
Racial slur thrower, Paula Deen is feeling invincible after she received a standing ovation at a Houston, Texas cooking convention that left her in tears, yesterday. During the Metro Cooking and Entertainment Show Deen told the crowd that she wanted her return as a public figure to take place in Texas all along.
It's no surprise to me that Texans accepted Deen with open arms. After all, Big Brother's Aaryn Gries (from Texas), who mocked Asians, trashed black people and referred to a gay houseguest as a "queer" during her stint on the reality competition show admitted, "In Texas, we say things. Sometimes we joke and we don't mean it."
TMZ caught up with Deen and her black bodyguard Hollis, who she referred to as being "as black as that blackboard" during a New York Times interview. Deen told TMZ reporters she doesn't need to make a comeback after n-word scandal because she "never went anywhere" to begin with.
Deen is in complete denial, she lost cookbook deals, Food Network declined to renew her contract, Wal-Mart and Caesars Casino have all decided to part ways with Deen. Could we possibly see a collab recipe with Deen and 2 Chainz for his upcoming cookbook #MEALTIME? The odds are probably slim to none, but it would be hilarious.
Check out the TMZ video footage of Deen down below. Sound off in the comments and let me know what you guys think.
