Paul Walker's Brother Cody Walker: Brother's Death ‘Still Doesn’t Feel Real’ [VIDEO]
Five months after the tragic accident, Paul Walker's brother still cannot comprehend the sudden death of his sibling. Cody Walker, 25, has said that he is still not used to the thought that his brother is gone and it just feels like the Fast & Furious actor is just away for a while shooting another film.
"Right now, a whole lot of time has not gone by yet. It still doesn't feel real because sometimes, working in this industry, making films - he'd be away from his family three, four, six months at a time, you know. And my only interaction would be a phone call. So, I know it's going to take a while," Cody said in an AP video interview.
Cody and another brother, Caleb, 36, both worked on the set of Fast & Furious 7 where Walker was filming midway through the movie before the fateful car accident.
The movie will be shown in cinemas on April 10, 2015. When asked about his role in the movie, Cody refused to give details. Instead, he talked about Walker's role on his film, Brick Mansions, which opened April 25.
"Paul had been training in martial arts for many, many years. Brazilian jujitsu was his choice," Cody said. "Everyone's so used to seeing Paul behind (the wheel of) a car all the time, and not really seeing that part of him."
Meanwhile, the third of Walker's four siblings assumed the brand manager position of Reach Out Worldwide (ROWw), a nonprofit relief organization, founded by his late brother.
Cody took time reminiscing his final moments with his brother Paul. He said, "He would tell me how jealous of me he was because I still had my anonymity. And he's like, 'I can't just go to the movies. I can't catch the films I want to see. You've still got that, man.' And here he is, talking. It was just so funny to hear that come from him."
