Pat Robertson End Times Prediction Coming True? Evangelist Says Bible Confirms Asteroid will Hit Earth and End the World (VIDEO)
NASA experts have warned that Earth has seen more asteroids hit its surface in the last decade than once thought. Televangelist Pat Robertson warned The 700 Club viewers to get right with the Lord because an asteroid could hit any day now.
In a just-released report by universe today, the agency recorded 26 huge hits that caused atomic bomb-scale explosions since 2001 and none of them were detected ahead of time.
"I wrote a book. It's called The End of the Age and it deals with an asteroid hitting the earth," Robertson said on his broadcast. "I don't see anything else that fulfills the prophetic words of Jesus Christ other than an asteroid strike. There isn't anything that will cause the seas to roil, that will cause the skies to darken, the moon and the sun not to give their light, the nations terrified on earth saying 'what's happening?'"
Robertson then warned the viewers to get ready and get right with the Lord.
"Hey, just get ready. Get right and stay right with the Lord. It could be next week, It could be next week, or it could be a 1,000 years from now," he said, "but nevertheless we want to be ready at whatever time the Lord says 'I'm wrapping it up, it's time to come home.'"
Robertson said that Jupiter's gravity pulled the asteroids away from us, but believes that might not always be the case, and that one of these days, a large asteroid is going to slip past and slam into the Earth. He maintains in his book that he did the "science" on it, and that an asteroid impact would cause major catastrophic events.
He urged people to read the bible and insisted over and over again to "read what Jesus said."
