'Parenthood' Season 6 Premiere Live Stream, Spoilers, NBC Start time: Major Death In Final Season?
The sixth and final season of 'Parenthood', the popular family comedy drama series on NBC, will premiere on Thursday, Sept. 25, at 10 pm EDT.
In the previous season, fans saw that Amber (Mae Whitman) was pregnant. On that note, a promo video for the upcoming season of the show depicts Amber looking at an ultrasound monitor, which pretty much confirms it. However, a report by TVLine says that soon-to-be daddy Ryan (Matt Lauria) may not appear in the installment until Episode 3.
It is worth noting that Amber and Ryan became romantic in the hospital after the car accident. As a result, he left town to return to Wyoming with his mother, who doesn't favor Amber at all.
Besides that, in regards to the marriage of Joel and Julia, the two seem to be on excellent terms. Nevertheless, it has not yet been disclosed whether or not the two estranged couples reunite before the series finale.
However, actor Sam Jaeger, who portrays the character of Graham Joel in 'Parenthood', is not all that optimistic regarding the idea of a reunion- that is, "at least at the start of the season."
In an interview with E! Online, the actor said, "There's always a chance for them to get back together," adding, "And hey, I'd love to report that all of season six is us just sitting around laughing and hugging each other. But there are more conflicts and more outside and inside threats to their relationship. They are just different people now than where the season ended. We certainly don't start where we left off."
Meanwhile, Chris (Coby Ryan McLaughlin), Julia's ex from college, will come back into her life, suggesting that this may possibly be a means for the Bravermans to get going and end the marriage.
Jason Katims, executive producer of the show, has hinted that there is a possibility that one of the characters will die in Season 6.
He went on to say, "We've never told a story about losing someone in the family, and that is a very difficult story for us to tell."
Katims added, "But it's one that I feel is a reality."
