Parenthood Final Season 6 Spoilers: NBC Series Executive Producer Reveals Season 6 Plot Points

NBC will air the final season of the show 'Parenthood' with 13 episodes starting September 25.

Even though 'Parenthood' has been included on the list of television shows that NBC will be renewing for new seasons, it's going to be ending the series with its sixth installment.

Fans of the show have been trying to find out what the final season's plot is going to entail, and luckily for them, Jason Katims, the show's executive producer, dropped some spoilers in an interview.

Katims revealed that the upcoming final season's plot will be "cohesive and inclusive." Katims also added that Amber's boyfriend Ryan, a character played by Matt Lauria, will make another appearance in the third episode of the show's last season.

Katims also mentioned that the forthcoming season will feature a "change of guards" in the Braverman family. According to the executive producer, just as implicated in the show's Season 5 finale, new family members will stand as the head of the Bravermans.

Probably the biggest spoiler revealed about the sixth season of 'Parenthood' is the confirmed pregnancy of Amber. During the Emmy Awards, a video containing spoilers was released. The video showcased Amber in the doctor's office and looking at a sonogram.

The show's fifth season finale, where Amber was seen buying a pregnancy kit, and the executive producer's revelation that Ryan will reappear in the third episode of the upcoming season, strengthens speculation that Amber is indeed pregnant.

The sixth and final season of 'Parenthood' will air on NBC on the 25th of September.
