Owl City Lends His Voice to Fight Against Child Hunger
Owl City's Adam Young has partnered with ConAgra Foods earlier this year to help bring an end to child hunger. The talented singer songwriter is reminding and encouraging all his fans to support this cause.
He recently posted a photo of himself holding a paper plate with a sad but true statistic that reads, "1 in 5 kids in the U.S. face hunger. #ChildHunger"
Along with the photo, Owl City wrote, "Child hunger is an issue that's close to my heart. Help support ConAgra Foods, Inc.'s Child Hunger Ends Here campaign by sharing this status and spreading the word. www.ChildHungerEndsHere.com"
Owl City along with Jewel, Jay Sean and other artists have decided to lend their voice to support the ConAgra's Child Hunger Ends Here Campaign.
"The opportunity to cut here's hope and really give it my own twist was extremely interesting to me, because my music is really inherently optimistic and very hopeful. and so to be able to use my art and to be able to use music for change is an incredible opportunity for me, and one that I never thought I ever would have had," said Owl City.
Owl City is thankful to be able to use "music as a vehicle to spread hope" and confessed that it is "a dream come true" for him.
