Orioles vs. Red Sox: Online Live Stream, Coverage from Boston

Finally baseball season has arrived. Today the Baltimore Orioles face off against the Boston Redsox at Fenway Park in Boston, April 8 at 2:05 EST. The Orioles kick off Week 2 as the #11 team in baseball according to Bleacher Report staff writer Joel Reuter's MLB power rankings. With a little help from some high-powered offensive prospects the Orioles are off to a strong start.

Reuter attributes Orioles slugger Chris Davis as a source of strength for the team.

"He [Davis] hit a home run in each of the team's first four games and closed out the week hitting .455 with 17 RBI and three doubles to go along with his four long balls."

The Baltimore Orioles are 3-3 as a team facing off division rivals the Tampa Bay Rays, and AL contenders the Minnesota Twins in week 1.

According to Reuter the Red Sox are ranked #16 overall. Reuter says, though the Sox have upped their batting skills, the pitching staff may take a hit when Jon Lester went down with what appears to be a serious arm injury.

Red Sox management will need to find a replacement for Lester whose only allowed two runs with 13 Ks in his first two starts this year.

If you're in the area, local channels MASN and NESN will be broadcasting the game.
