Orioles VS Blue Jays PREVIEW / Watch Online Live Stream Stream Here at 7:07 PM ET / Orioles Pitcher Gausman maks MLB Debut
The Baltimore Orioles will try and remedy their pitching woes in tonight's match up against division rivals the Toronto Blue Jays. Oriole prospect Kevin Gausman got the call up to the big leagues for his first MLB appearance.
The Toronto Blue Jays are on a bit of a home hot streak, winning 5 of the last six when playing in front of their Canadian fans. Still working through some neck and back soreness, Brandon Morrorw (1-3, 5.16 ERA) gets the start tonight.
Good news: Morrow didn't walk a single hitter in his last appearance against the New York Yankees.
Bad news: Everything else.
Morrow allowed five runs, and was eventually pulled in the 5th inning.
Blue Jays skipper John Gibbons found a silver lining in the right-handers return.
"I thought (Morrow) threw the ball really well, he really did," according to the Blue Jays official website. "And then, of course, a couple of big home runs. But that's a good sign, he looked healthy. He shouldn't have any more thoughts about that, I don't think."
In his last start against the Orioles, Morrow gave up four runs, and walked three.
On TV the game airs at 7:07 ET, on local networks RSN (Toronto) and MASN (Baltimore).
