'Orange is the New Black' Season 2 Cast, Release Date SPOILERS / Netflix Series Takes Focus Off of Piper, Says Show Creator / Premiere 2014 [TRAILER]

Orange is the New Black Season 2 SPOILERS!

Orange is the New Black creator Jenji Kohan revealed a few spoilers regarding Season 2. Expect the new Netflix show to explore each cast member's individual background, instead of being focused mainly on Piper.

She says the transition will make for a more ensemble storyline, meaning some of the auxiliary cast members will now be upgraded with much more air time.

Kohan told TV Guide characters like Crazy Eyes [Uzo Aduba], Red [Kate Mulgrew] Pousse [Samira Wiley], Black Cindy [Adrienne Moore] and Taystee [Danielle] will all be fleshed out with their own history and backgrounds.

There are also a lot of rumors surrounding Laura Prepon's role in Season 2. Her character Alex, who is the reason Piper is in jail in the first place, is rumored to featured less in Season 2.

As for Piper's relationship with her husband Larry, cast member Jason Biggs revealed a little insight into their potential storyline.

"Beginning of Season 2 and throughout we're going to see or at least explore if the damage that was done is irreparable or if they can work through this."

Still no confirmation on an official Season 2 release date, but Orange is the New Black will be back some time in 2014 exclusively on Netflix.
