'Orange is the New Black' Season 2 Spoilers, Rumors: Laura Prepon Not Leaving Cast; 'Everyone Loves Alex' Says Director (TRAILER)

"Orange is the New Black" season 2 is just months away, and for the longest time the biggest concern was over Laura Prepon (Alex Vause) leaving the show due to her belief in Scientology. Now, it is without question the actress is 100 percent in the show and committed as those earlier claims are false.

"She's not [leaving]. She's in the show," said Jeni Kohan, the show's creator, to Time 100 Gala. "[Laura] was busy, so she wasn't in [the new season] as much as we would have liked, and as she would have liked. But we schedule around it, and we get her when we can have her, and hopefully we'll have her more."

Kohan continued, and admitted that the fewer episodes still does not stop Prepon from getting the most fan mail. "Everybody loves Alex. Everyone is hoping [Prepon will] switch teams in real life, but I don't think it's going to happen."

Prepon was originally rumored to only be in four episodes due to her role in the show conflicting with her beliefs in real life.

"Yeah, the funny thing is that it was a scheduling thing that happened with another project, and Jenji and I were like, cool, we're going to work it out so Alex can be in as many as possible. The storyline that happened is going to be awesome and shocking and rad and fans are going to be really happy," she said to Wetpaint, confirming Kohan's statements.

The first trailer for season 2 was released two weeks ago, and the show is at an all time high as the Netflix hit series has fans clamoring for its June 6 return. Now photos of the upcoming series are online as a sneak peek to the faithful followers.
