The company has also previously scrapped the invite-only sale system for its OnePlus One smartphone that was released in 2014. The invite system was implemented by the company to encourage customers to participate in the promotional campaigns of the company.

These phone models will now be sold without the need for participating in the promotions and earning an invite.

The Chinese company has finally decided to scrap the invite-only restriction for its OnePlus 2 smartphone and other models. According to an official statement published in the blogsite of the company, OnePlus 2 smartphone will be offered invite-free forever but the OnePlus X will only be invite-free all day from December 5 to 7.

In the same blog post, OnePlus also announced that it is offering discounts for the OnePlus 2 StyleSwap covers at 50% off and select OnePlus One accessories at 90% off. This will definitely be good news for the customers of the smartphone brand.
