One Direction Split Rumors? Harry Styles Rebuffs Break-Up Talk, 'I Want to Tour for 10 More Years With 1D'
Ever since One Direction singer Harry Styles was rumored to pursue a solo career, news agencies haven't stopped speculating as to when the boy band will finally split up. X-Factor judge Simon Cowell previously spoke about when One Direction will probably go their separate ways.
"Bands don't stay together forever. I think they will make at least two more albums together, and they are in the middle of one right now." Cowell recently told the Daily Star. Cowell also thinks that the band will eventually split, but not just yet.
"No, I don't think that is going to happen for a while. Eventually, I am sure they all will," he mentioned.
Styles was recently rumored to be leaving One Direction and forming his own band to pursue a solo career. Gossip sparked because he formed a new company called HSA Publising Ltd. with his accountant, Alan McEvoy.
This seemed like a move to leave the group, since that's exactly how One Direction started in the first place, with a new company. It was under the company called 1D Media Limited, which was created in 2010 with Styles, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, and Louis Tomlinson as directors, each with a 20 percent share.
However, Styles apparently does not plan on leaving the band any time soon.
In his recent interview with BBC's Top of the Pops, the singer said "I'm 100 percent in this band. I still want to be touring with One Direction in ten years. I'll be doing it until I'm old and people are telling me to stop."
Producer Naughty Boy also reassured 1D fans saying that One Direction's latest musical effort is "their best album yet. They know the value of the unit," he told the Mirror.
