Rumors are surfacing that say Louis Tomlinson and Eleanor Calder are growing more committed to each other, and are looking to settle down.

Speculation about One Direction singer Louis Tomlinson and girlfriend Eleanor Calder's engagement flooded the Internet when a hash tag #HappyEngagementElouner unexpectedly appeared on Twitter.

All of a sudden the hash tag became viral as numerous confused fans tweeted about the mysterious engagement post. One fan wrote, "Peeps please tell me what's happening??? I'm so confused!!!???"

Other followers of the couple were still a bit puzzled, but said they have no problems with the two getting engaged, "#HappyEngagementElounor Is this real or what...?? What did I miss?? it's ok 2me that elounor r engage but gosssh," one tweet said.

Neither of the two confirmed the said engagement, but the 22-year old singer showed his commitment to Calder when he attended the latter's graduation.

Despite the band member's busy schedule, he flew in to be a part of the moment, "He was a bit late for the start of the ceremony and he did not want to create a big fuss. He crept in and kept a really low profile. There were around 400 people there at the ceremony and hardly anyone clocked that it was him," a report stated.

The graduation ceremony happened at the University's Whitworth Hall where the young woman went up on stage to get her diploma.

Another reason for people to think that the cute couple is getting serious with each other stems from a picture posted by Calder on instagram account. The photo shows her as a maid of honor, and Tomlin as a best man to the 'X-Factor' star's mother's wedding.

Tomlin's mom, Johannah, got married to her longtime boyfriend Daniel Deakin, the other members of the band One Direction did not dare to miss the said wedding except for Zayn who was possibly busy bonding with fiancée Perrie Edwards.
