"Once Upon A Time" is slated for a comeback on ABC on March and Queen Guinevere of Camelot is expected to set the season on fire as she indulges on her secret affair with the dashing knight Lancelot (Sinqua Walls).

Actress Joana Metrass has revealed on Fashion & Style that her character, the wife of King Arthur (Liam Garrigan), will continue to be torn between two lovers -- and between her passion and her high honor, "You can expect that she will always remain loyal. The question is to whom: is it more important to be loyal to her husband, to the king, to the kingdom or to herself?"

Metrass has expressed fascination and interest on her character who remains very human despite her queen status, "I wanted to find out what drove a woman that has so much honor and is so loyal and passionate to have the famous romance with Lancelot, one of her husband's knights. I wanted to understand her story and not judge her"

The long-running series actress also lauded her character for the Queen of Poetry Land's kindness and sense of duty. She also admires the queen's grace and cunning.

Metrass has always wanted to be an actress so she can live more lives and experience many different things. Living in a different place and time, and being a ruler, is a memory she'll always cherish.

However, the role also has its demands and the actress prepared really well for it, "I did a lot of research in how Guinevere had been portrayed before and the different versions of the story. I researched a lot about movement - a queen doesn't move the same way as other people- She doesn't rest her hand in her lap the same way for example. There is a balance between being delicate but at the same time powerful."
