In the upcoming season of Once Upon A Time, Anna and Kristoff from the popular Frozen film are set to be played by actors Elizabeth Lail and Scott Michael Foster, respectively.

According to TVLine, Lail will star as Elsa's little sister Anna from last year's blockbuster Disney animated film, while Greek's star Foster will play the role of Anna's love interest Kristoff in the new season.

In the Once Upon A Time Season 3 Finale episode titled "There's No Place Like Home," series protagonist Emma Swan (the daughter of Prince Charming and Snow White) and Captain Hook (the villain from the Peter Pan franchise) unknowingly released Elsa (who was trapped in a container) when the episode came to a close on May 11. The actress who will portray Elsa has not been announced as of yet.

Previously, show producers Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis hinted which Disney character they would love to have on their show based on fairy tales and popular Disney characters.

"We would be completely honored if Kristen Bell or Idina Menzel wanted to do our show," revealed Kitsis at PaleyFest in reference to both women taking on the role of the extremely popular character [Elsa] from the hit movie.

As a result, Veronica Mars star Kristen Bell revealed that she would be interested in reprising her role as Elsa on the ABC live-action series.

"That would be unbelievable," said Bell to E! News three months ago, "I love that character of Anna so much. She is exactly who I wanted to see when I was five years old. She is really close to my heart."

The popular film won two Academy Awards at this year's Oscars on March 2, 2014. Frozen Co-Director Chris Buck, Co-Director Jennifer Lee, and Producer Peter Del Vecho received the Oscar award for Best Animated Feature. Surprisingly, that was the first time a Disney movie won the prestigious Best Animated Feature category.

In addition, Frozen songwriter Robert Lopez and his actress/songwriter wife Kristen Anderson-Lopez both received the Academy Award for Best Original Song thanks to the hit song "Let It Go." The song was made famous by Idina Menzel's vocal performance in the film. In addition, Demi Lovato's rendition of the popular Disney song was also critically acclaimed.

Once Upon A Time Season 4 is slated to appear on the ABC network in the Fall (possibly September 28), but the release date has not yet been confirmed.
