The San Antonio Spurs will battle the Oklahoma City Thunder at the AT&T Center tonight in San Antonio as the NBA 2014 Playoffs continue.

The Spurs are attempting to defend their home court advantage versus the Thunder on Monday night, after eliminating the Trail Blazers from postseason contention by a score of 104-82 last Wednesday night. In Game 5, Danny Green had 22 points and 9 rebounds to allow San Antonio to advance to the Western Conference Finals. Spurs are looking to win their first NBA title since 2007 and their fifth championship overall.
"He's an incredible talent having a great playoff run," said Spurs superstar Tim Duncan to reporters in reference Thunder's All-Star point guard Russell Westbrook. "Some incredible numbers. Just an impressive athlete when you try to stay in front of him. His confidence is there."
The Thunder are looking to defeat the Spurs on the road this evening when the two squads battle each other again in the Western Conference Finals of the NBA playoffs.
The Thunder recently eliminated Los Angeles Clippers from postseason contention by 104-98 on Thursday night. In Game 6, Kevin Durant had an awesome performance when he totaled 39 points, 16 rebounds and 5 assists to ignite the Thunder to the victory.
Now the Thunder look to beat a team with similar championship goals, the San Antonio Spurs. Thunder superstar Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook are pursuing the first championship of their NBA career and the franchise's first championship since 1979 when the team was formerly known as the Seattle SuperSonics.
"Their system, they plug guys in and out," said Durant to reporters in reference to the Spurs. "They always stick to their same system. They get guys who fit. And they've got a great coach who gets those guys prepared."
