The Thunder will be the big favorites for tonight's game, having one of the most impressive records in the NBA so far this season. The Thunder look to defend their home court when they battle the Kings this evening. The Thunder are ranked 2nd in the Western Conference standings. The Thunder lost to the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday night by the final score of 128-119 in overtime. Kevin Durant scored 43 points in a losing effort for Oklahoma City. Durant has scored at least 25 points in 36 straight games. He currently trails Michael "Air" Jordan's record of scoring at least 25 points in 40 straight games back in 1986-87.

"It's good for us to get in those battles at this point, to understand the possession game, how important each possession is, and value that," said Thunder player Caron Butler to reporters in reference to his team getting ready for their upcoming playoff run. "We're learning each other on the fly still and I love what I see. We have to get prepared for the next challenge."

The Kings look to get an upset win on the road against Kevin Durant's Thunder squad tonight. The Kings are also try rebound from a recent loss to the Knicks on Wednesday night by the final score of 107-99 when Knicks superstar Carmelo Anthony scored 36 points against Sacramento. DeMarcus Cousins totaled 32 points, 15 rebounds and 8 assists in a losing effort for the Kings. In addition, Cousins has recorded a double-double in 8 consecutive games.

"We know what they wanted to do but we have to go out there and execute," said Cousins to reporters after the game.
