Oklahoma City Thunder vs Memphis Grizzlies Game 5 Tonight, Watch on TNT or Stream Live Online Here

The NBA playoffs continue tonight with Game 5 of the western conference semi-finals featuring the Oklahoma City Thunder vs the Memphis Grizzlies.

Most NBA fans expected a trip back to the Finals for the Thunder, who had a strong regular season and minus losing their 6th man, James Harden, in the off season, were poised to make another deep playoff run.

This was before their star point guard, Russell Westbrook, went down for the season with a knee injury in the first round of the playoffs against the Houston Rockets (and James Harden's new team).

Kevin Durant was able to carry the Thunder past the Rockets without Westbrook but now are in a 3-1 hole against the Grizzlies.

The Thunder could just as easily be up 3-1 in this tight series as a couple of play either way have determined the games. The Thunder were up by 18 last game and let the lead slip away and Durant could not hit the shots down the stretch and they lost in OT.

Tonight, the Thunder fight to stay alive against a Grizzlies team who is hunger to make it to the Western Conference Finals. The Grizzlies have 3 players that made it onto NBA All-Defensive Teams this year and the NBA Defensive Player of the Year in Marc Gasol, so their strong regular season play is just carrying on into the playoffs.

The Grizzlies made a big move of their own when they let go of All-Star Forward, Rudy Gay. Fans were not sure if that move would be good or bad for the team, so far it has not been a bad move.

The Grizzlies have 3 players averaging over 18 points per game in this series. The Thunder are not finding the scoring help alongside Kevin Durant they need with Westbrook out.
