Oculus Rift News & Update: Europe Release Date Announced On September 20
The Oculus Rift Europe release date has already been announced but you can already pre-order the headset at £549.
You can go to the Game to pre-order prior to the Oculus Rift Europe release date, and you can already receive the headset by Sept. 20. Out of the box, you can get the headset with headphones and microphone, the Oculus sensor and remote, the Xbox One wireless controller along with 2 AA batteries, and all the necessary accessories.
You can also get a "Lucky's Tale" full game for free by purchasing the Oculus Rift.
According to PC Advisor, the Xbox controller might just be phased out with the Oculus Touch. These will eventually replace the wireless controller. The Touch will have two controllers with two buttons and a trigger. It will also feature a haptic feedback and will follow your movements whenever you point or wave.
However, for now it's not yet known when the release date of the Oculus Touch. It was earlier announced that it will come out late 2016. To be sure it's not included in the Oculus Rift Europe release date.
The Oculus Rift has earmarked about $10 million to help third-party developers create VR titles for the headset. Aside from "Lucky's Tale," you can also play "VR Sports Challenge," "Edge of Nowhere," "Chronos," "AirMechVR" and "Damage Core."
However, the biggest news so far which makes people anticipate the Oculus Rift Europe release date is the announcement that one of the most popular games today, "Minecraft," is now available for the VR headset.
