New York head coach Rex Ryan expressed his thoughts regarding his squad's disappointing season this year, as reports of his possible firing continues to heat up.

"We can't deny where we are at, we're 1-6," said Ryan to reporters.

"The job is every day to get better and I believe our football team is getting better, it just hasn't been good enough to win yet."

Newest Jets wide receiver (and kick returner) Percy Harvin is hoping to make an impact in his first game as a member of 'Gang Green' on Sunday.

"I'm learning from those lessons," said Harvin to reporters.

"I'm happy to be here right now and looking to make the most out of it."

Harvin was recently acquired in a blockbuster trade from the Seahawks (due to alleged team chemistry issues in Seattle) after New York traded away their conditional draft pick for next year's NFL Draft.

Meanwhile, the Bills (4-3) recently defeated the Minnesota Vikings by a final score of 17-16 this past Sunday, a game where QB Kyle Orton went 31-43 for 283 yards, highlighted by two touchdowns and an interception.

Now, the Bills are looking to extend their winning streak to two games in their upcoming bout with their divisional foes, the lowly New York Jets.
