Nokia Lumia 930 vs. LG G3 Comparison: Specs and Features Review
As both the Nokia Lumia 930 and LG G3 have been recently released, a comparison between the two should provide some insight as to which device an interested, yet on the fence, consumer should buy.
Some of the major deciding factors when looking for a smartphone, rest on the processor speed as well as the device's memory. Beyond that, a lot of techies look or a high quality camera to seal the deal when they purchase a new handset.
Starting with the platform, the Nokia Lumia 930 runs on Microsoft Windows phone 8.1 OS, it sports 2GB RAM and Qualcomm MSM8974 Snapdragon 800 chipset quad-core which runs at 2.2 GHz. While LG G3 runs on Android KitKat and is equipped with Qualcomm MSM8975AC Snapdragon 801 chipset running at 2.5 GHz.
In terms of memory, LG G3 comes in 16GB and 32GB internal memory variants, but can be increased to 120GB with an SD card. This is where a dividing line can be drawn between the two phones in question, the Nokia Lumia 930 does not have an SD slot. The device only comes in a 32GB internal memory model, and again, cannot be upgraded.
Stepping into what could be the deciding factor for many, the camera, the Nokia Lumia 930 pulls into the lead on this one. It sports a 20 MP main back camera, while the face of the device supports a 1.2 MP camera. The LG G3 has a 13 MP camera on the back, and a 2.1 MP one on the front. Both phones have autofocus and dual-LED flash.
When deciding between the two, it's ultimately up to user preference and what they intend to do with the device. If they're looking for storage, they should go with the LG G3, but if they want a great camera that takes high-quality photos, they should go with the Nokia Lumia 930.
