Nokia Lumia 920 vs. Samsung Galaxy S4: Specs, Features and More [REVIEW]
Nokia Lumia 920 vs. Samsung Galaxy S4. Though the Samsung Galaxy S4 and iPhone 5 steal most of the thunder away from their competition you may be surprised how great the Nokia Lumia 920 really is.
Let's first compare the design between the two smartphones. The Galaxy S4 is pretty similar to the S3 in design but distinguishes itself from the competition with a plastic back that pops off making battery replacement/repair pretty easy for the user or a specialist. The Lumia 920 design also takes after it's predecessor the Lumia 800 and comes in flamboyant colors.
What about the screen? The Lumia 920 has a 4.5 inch screen (1280 x 768 resolution) while the Galaxy S4 has a Full HD 5 inch screen (1080 x 1920 resolution) The Galaxy S4 also uses Super AMOLED technology with Gorilla Glass 3.
What about the process under the hood? The Lumia 920 operates on Windows Phone 8 and boasts a 1.5 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 chip. The U.K model Galaxy S4 uses a 1.9GHz quad-core processor (other versions use octa-core processor). Though the Lumia 920 runs smooth, 8 cores is better than 2.
The Galaxy S4 boasts a 13 megapixel camera that supports Full HD 1080p video recording. The Lumia 920 only has a 8.7 megapixel rear facing camera and uses optical instead of electronic stabilization. Though the Lumia 920 performs well in low light conditions, the Galaxy S4 takes the cake.
As was mentioned earlier the Galaxy S4's 2600mAh battery is removable. The Lumia 920's battery is not removable and comes with 7.4Wh worth of power. With the 920 you'll most likely have to charge once a day.
Ok so the Galaxy S4 is still a superior phone, but don't underestimate the Nokia Lumia 920 too much. Not exactly on the same level as Samsung and Apple, Nokia is still competition to not be taken lightly.
