Microsoft has announced quite a few new devices, including the Nokia Lumia 730, at the recently concluded Berlin IFA 2014, but has not made any official announcement regarding the availability of this handset touted as the "selfie" smartphone. Nevertheless, it is expected to be on the market this Fall.

The Lumia 739 was announced along with another model Lumia 735 which are quite similar except for the fact that while the former model has a dual SIM and supports 3G connections, the latter supports 4G LTE connections.

The Nokia Lumia 730 has a 4.7-inch ClearBlack display and supports 720 x 1280 pixels resolution at 312ppi.

The smartphone is powered by a quad core Cortex A7 processor and clocked at 1.2GHz and vis-à-vis graphics, it has an Adreno 305. Being a Microsoft product now, Lumia 730 runs on the latest Windows Phone 8.1 which has a 1GB of RAM.

However, the best part of the Nokia Lumia 730 is that it comes with a unique and much-touted selfie application that is already pre-installed on the phone. The selfie application on the device enables the user to edit the brightness and contrast of the image, in addition, it offers different effects options. It can also be used to whiten teeth and cover a black point on the user's face.

A review by Fuse Joplin reads, "The 730 phone can improve the selfies, because it has the front facing camera that comes with some wide-angle lens. These lenses and the fact that the camera is a 5MP one, help you get those perfect selfies you always wanted and with which you'll fascinate your friends on Facebook."

As far as the camera of the device is concerned, the Nokia Lumia 730 has a 6.7MP on the back. In addition, it has 8GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 128GB with the MicroSD card slot. It comes with a 2200mAh battery unit.

The Nokia Lumia 730 is priced reasonably and costs around $260.
