Early last month, Microsoft released a teaser invite for an event in Berlin, Germany, on September 4. The vivid orange invite asks, "Are you ready for more?" and features the round Lumia camera lens instead of the letter "o" in the word "more."

Although, Microsoft has yet to offer any further details, the focus on the camera lens suggests that the upcoming smartphone may be introduced at the said event. This belief gains ground from the fact that a few images of the smartphone also surfaced online a few days back.

Currently, the handset is codenamed "Superman," but it could eventually be released as a sequel to the Lumia 720. This makes the name Lumia 730 a distinct possibility, especially because earlier, the Lumia 530 was officially announced as the successor to the Lumia 520. In addition, chances are strong that the smartphone will be released through AT&T and Verizon.

Meanwhile, a leaked photograph may possibly have revealed the design of Lumia 730.
