Nokia Lumia 730 Release Date Rumors: ‘Super Selfie Phone’ for September 2014 IFA Berlin Event

According to reports, Microsoft has hinted that the new Nokia Lumia 730 will be revealed during the IFA Berlin event this coming September.

It is believed that the new Lumia will be a "super selfie phone." In the teaser invite from Microsoft, they asked, "Are you ready for more?" and used an image of a camera lens in the place of the "o" in "more." This has led many to believe that the new device will have an excellent camera.

It would not be hard to believe that the the Lumia 730 will be a "super selfie phone" since the Lumia series is known for having outstanding rear and front camera quality.

At present, the phone has a "Superman" codname. However, since it was released after the Lumia 720, it is distinctly possible that Lumia 730 will be its official name. Previously, they introduced the Nokia Lumia 530 as the next installment after the Lumia 520.

It is also possible that Microsoft will release the phone through an AT&T or Verizon subscription.

There are also leaked pictures of the new Lumia. The picture shows a green device with a polycarbonate case. It also shows a camera lens with an LED flash on its rear. It is believed that it will run under Lumia Debian Red software.

There are also rumors that Lumia 730 will have a 5" display and a 720p screen resolution. The device will possibly be covered by a Snapdragon 400 chip with 16GB RAM and 8GB internal memory.

Lastly, it will also use the Windows Phone 8.1 software.
