The Nokia Lumia 720, along with the more affordable Lumia 520 debuted in India in March. The phones are scheduled for an April release but only the price for the Lumia 520  officially revealed. Both smartphones are now available for pre-order in India and Russia.

You can get the Lumia 720 in the U.S on the eBay website but at a higher cost. To get an unlocked Lumia 720, you have to be willing to dish out $475, although they are offering free shipping.

"The two new smart devices will further invigorate brand Nokia with amongst the new generation of smartphone purchasers."

TheNokia Lumia 720 features a 4.3-inch LCD touchscreen with ClearBlack Display technology. This display is extremely touch-sensitive and can be operated even when users are wearing gloves. The Lumia 720 is powered by a 1GHz dual-core CPU, coupled with 512MB RAM. It has 8GB internal memory, 7GB free SkyDrive storage and microSD support up to 64GB.

The all-new Lumia 720 has a 6.7MP Carl Zeiss camera with LED flash on the back, and a 1.3MP unit in the front. Connectivity features in the device include 2G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, microUSB 2.0 and NFC. Powered by a 2,000mAh battery, this smartphone boasts of wireless charging and unibody design.

Lumia 720 will be competing with Samsung Galaxy S Advance, Samsung Galaxy Grand, HTC 8S, Sony Xperia P and LG Optimus L9 in the affordable smartphone segment. The HTC 8S Windows Phone 8 smartphone was launched in November last year in the country.

There is also options for a Lumia 620 at amid range price and a tech-savy Lumia 920 at a more expensive price at over $500.
