Nokia Lumia 1525 Release Date, Specs News: ‘Nokia by Microsoft’ to Launch New Phablet Soon
Following the highly hyped introduction of Apple's iPhone 6, Microsoft is all set to introduce its first phone on the market after acquiring Nokia; it will be called Lumia 1525.
This phone will allegedly be powered by Windows 8.1 and will also have the latest version of SnapDragon 801 instead of SnapDragon 800 that is available on Lumia 1520. Microsoft will launch the handset in carrier partnership with AT&T and Verizon in US.
This flagship phone by Microsoft will be the next in the line of phablet competitors with all the latest upgrades in-built. According to reports, the Lumia 1525 will have 6 inch screen along with Full HD Display of 1080p and quad core Qualcomm SnapDragon 801 processor.
This handset is reportedly being launched as a one up to Lumia 1520 which launched last year. Although the latest version is said to be pretty much the same in terms of features, there are some additions like upgraded hardware to keep up with the competition.
Windows OS 8.1 will introduce voice based assistance service called Cortana in competition with Apple's Siri. This latest addition will be a combination of Google Now and Siri and will also be joined by another popular OS, Android. The users will be able to access the notification center with a pull down menu which will notify the user about calls, texts, emails and provide quick access to the settings tab.
The latest version is all set to flaunt the 20-mega pixel camera in the rear which is also present in its predecessor. On a side note, the processor will also be faster and better than the last one.
As it stands, there's no reports about an exact release date of the device.
