Nintendo Direct update!

With the E3 2013 gaming conference in the books, gamers got a first look at the next gen consoles and games from Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft. E3 2013 audiences were captivated by the PC-like specs for new consoles Playstation 4 and Xbox One. But Nintendo Direct blew them away after announcing a full list of new games coming to the Wii in the upcoming months.

Nintendo Direct announced a new Super Smash Bros. is on the way. Who doesn't love reprising famous Nintendo characters (Mario to Link from Zelda)? Mario Kart 8 was definitely one of the more popular titles included in the E3 presentation. The new Mario Kart will feature motorcycles and karts that can turn into hovercrafts...COOL!

Super Mario 3D World will feature all new online modes and crazy animal suits.

The Donkey Kong franchise is back with Tropical Freeze. Trying to attract female gamers, Nintendo Direct confirmed Dixie Kong as a main character in the game.

If you want to get in shape or just party with some friends Nintendo is releasing new installments to their Wii Fit and Wii Party series. Wii Fit U is aimed towards college games while Wii Party U is a compilation of mini games for all ages.

By far the title I'm most excited about is The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD. Not sure if the storyline is different or just the same game in HD. Either way Link is back!
