Nina Pham Condition Latest News Update: Slowly Recovers from Ebola, Boyfriend Shows Symptoms of Deadly Disease

New reports claim that Nina Pham, the nurse from Dallas who became infected with Ebola, is on the road to recovery. According to Dr. Anthony Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, Nina Pham's condition is currently stable.

"We fully intend to have this patient walk out of this hospital, and we will do everything we possibly can to have that happen," Dr. Fauci stated in an interview with ABC News.

As it stands, the 26-year-old nurse is now being cared for in Maryland.

Her boyfriend, however, was reportedly admitted in the hospital and put in quarantine, after showing symptoms of Ebola.

Alcon employees received emails from their CEO, Jeff George, that stated the alleged condition of Pham's boyfriend.

Meanwhile, 29-year-old nurse Amber Vinson, who was also infected by the disease after taking care of Thomas Eric Duncan, is now being tended to at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, according to Christian Today.

The disease, as of the moment, has claimed more than 4,500 lives, with 9,000 individuals still infected, according to a top official at the U.N. health agency.

Dr. Isabelle Nuttall, director of WHO's global capacities, alert and response, said that there are 2,700 infected and 236 dead health workers.

Meanwhile, the family of Duncan accuses Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas for withholding the medical records of Duncan's treatment.

According to the report, none of the procedures were discussed with the family and Duncan's son's request for his father's cremation details was also declined.
