Barely a month has lapsed since the "Twilight" actress Nikki Reed announced her split with singer-song writer husband Paul McDonald after two years of marriage, but the 25-year-old is now said to be dating "Dancing With the Stars" pro Derek Hough.

Quoting an eyewitness, the Daily Mail reports that the couple embraced openly and often made no effort whatsoever to conceal that they were together. Besides Derek, Nikki was joined by some other members of the "Dancing With The Stars" team, including Cheryl Bruke and Mark Ballas.

Another source told Us Weekly, "The whole group was drinking and partying. Derek bought shots for Nikki at the bar," adding, "There was lots of PDA, Nikki was feeding, holding hands, and they left together. They didn't seem to care if anyone was watching."

Nikki and 28-year-old Derek have been seen spending lot of fun time in each other's company. Recently, it was also reported that Nikki was seen supporting her supposed new boyfriend backstage at the ABC dance competition show.

"She's such a sweet girl! Really down to earth," the source said. "They are having fun hanging out. It's a good match."

However, a person said to be close to the brunette actress told the Daily Mail, "Nikki isn't currently dating anyone. She is focused on her divorce from Paul and caring for that relationship as well as her latest film projects."

Substantiating the claim, the source added, "She has hung out with Derek a few times through her. They're having fun but it's nothing serious."

However, the source added that Nikki is good friends with Julianne, Hough's sister.

While Nikki is waiting for her divorce and is living alone, Derek also split from girlfriend Nina Dobrev sometime in October.
