Nicole Scherzinger, Lewis Hamilton Dating Rumors: Singer Skips F1 Race for New Album

Is Nicole Scherzinger choosing her career over longtime boyfriend Lewis Hamilton?

Suzi Perry, BBC Formula One presenter, shared that the "Your Love" singer has not appeared at most of Hamilton's races this year despite the fact that they recently got back together. Perry, 44, spoke with Express.co.uk and said Scherzinger was absent for the most part at this year's F1 races.

"Nicole doesn't come to the races anymore, she's not been around this year," she said, "I guess they've been using technology to keep in touch. I've not seen too much of Nicole, sadly."

Perry gushed when asked about what she thought of the F1 professional driver. She said that she admired him for being a "terrific driver."

"It's been a really fantastic season this year, and, of course, Lewis Hamilton has a shot at the title so it's even more exciting if you're British," Perry revealed, "Obviously I'm not supposed to back anyone because I'm BBC but I do have a lot of time for Lewis. I think he's a terrific driver."

However, this could just mean that Scherzinger is just really caught up with all the work she's doing for her upcoming album and that she still wished Hamilton well in all of his races.

In an interview with Digital Spy, Scherzinger talked about her new album and the workings inside the production studio, "I've just worked with The Dream and Tricky and it is cohesive, we've created a sound. We found a sound. We found a Nicole sound."

"So when you hear a couple of the songs you'll be like, 'Woah, that doesn't sound like any other artist out there. Any other formula of song out there. Any other beat out there,'" she said.

In the August issue of Cosmo, Scherzinger shared about their challenging long distance relationship, "Relationships are hard and having to hold a long-distance relationship is even harder," said Scherzinger.

Adding, "It's kudos to us for growing and trying - there's so much love there. It's just the distance, it's not natural for anyone. But I'm good and I'm happy."

She was asked if she is willing to cut back her "work time" to spend more time with her boyfriend, but the lady was firm in her reply.

"No, absolutely not. This is my passion, I have so much more to give, and with him - whether we're on or off - I wholeheartedly support him in everything he does," she said, "It's good we have that love and respect for each other."
