Female rappers Lil' Kim and Nicki Minaj are head to head in a fight for the music industry spotlight. Both artists are using their music to take the occasional jab at each other, but recently, things have grown heated.

Recently, Lil' Kim released her own mix of Beyonce's "Flawless" where allegedly, she responds to jab from Minaj in the original remix. Afterwards Kim followed up with another blow aimed at Minaj in the "Identity Theft" track she released.

Minaj on the other hand was not silent as she released a song apparently aimed at Lil' Kim entitled "Stupid Hoe."

Several other artists reacted to the rap-star cat fight feud going on between the two. Famous rapper T.I was recently interviewed by Billboard, wherein he mentioned that things between Lil' Kim and Nicki Minaj are bound to get even stickier. He said that when a "new and younger version" of an artist comes around, after one who's been "dominating for so long," it only spells out disaster.

He went on to say that this is something common in the music industry, and that "this is something that can happen to men too."

T.I also said that it's difficult to resolve these types of feuds because of all the gossip and rumor that surrounds it, "Just because you heard another person say that you gonna be on edge. I feel like that's more of the case with Kim and Nicki, even though I don't know what started any of this, it's a little more complicated to put to bed because of that fact." T.I. concluded.
