American Idol judge Nicki Minaj and her revealing red dress stirred a little controversy on Twitter during last night's Top 5 episode. Most Minaj drama stems from her constant feud with fellow Idol judge Mariah Carey. This time it was Minaj's fashion sense. Many question the appropriateness of Minaj's tight, red dress [equipped with "boob" window...more like glass wall] given the young, impressionable audience American Idol attracts.

Twitter users weren't shying away from letting the "Super Bass" singer know how much they disapproved.

One user tweeted: "Nicki Minaj needs to reevaluate her outfit of choice tonight. Someone's about to get flashed. Yikes."

Another user tweeted: "Nicki Minaj, your outfit is disgusting."

American Idol had to know what they were in for when they signed Minaj [who feuds constantly with fellow judge Mariah Carey, and was even late to one of the live episodes weeks ago] to the show.

The scandalous dress wasn't the only thing exciting the Twitter world. Per usual Minaj went out of her way to criticize Mariah. During a misunderstanding of each other's critique Minaj told Carey:

"I disagree... that was the best performance of the night."

Mariah tried to solve the miscommunication: "I wasn't saying she was awkward... you don't really disagree with me."

After the two Idol judges continued to talk over one another, Minaj shouted at Mariah to, "simmer down...sir."
