Nicki Minaj, Ariana Grande and Jessie J Hit Artist 100 With ‘Bang Bang’ Song
"Bang Bang," a collaboration between Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj and Jessie J, has soared to the Artist 100 chart. Also, Grande's sophomore album, My Everything, is now at the number 1 spot on the Billboard 200.
The Artist 100 chart is "the first weekly ranking dedicated to measuring artist activity across Billboard's most influential charts, including the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart, Billboard 200 albums chart and the Social 50," according to Billboard.
This chart measures data across different platforms like track and album sales, streaming, social media interaction and radio airplay.
Grande has been on the Artist 100 chart for the second week with almost 60 percent of her points coming from album sales. There have been almost 169,000 units sold. The 20 percent of her scores came from digital sales which is led by "Bang Bang," which sold 244,000 units.
Minaj also reached the Artist 100 with two of her songs included in the list. The top driver of her points came from digital sales of "Bang Bang" and "Anaconda." After the VMA awards, her sales spiked up to 57 percent, with total sales of 188,000 units.
Meanwhile, Jessie J reached the top 40 of the chart for the first time. She is accrediting 60 percent of her digital sales as her driving factor in the Artist 100.
