Nicki Minaj and Drake New Song 'Only' News: 'Anaconda' Rapper Breaks Silence Regarding Controversial 'Nazi' Video

Hip-Hop artist Nicki Minaj recently expressed her thoughts regarding her newest song "Only" after the video is being accused of allegedly promoting Nazi symbolism and propaganda.

"I didn't come up w/the concept, but I'm very sorry & take full responsibility if it has offended anyone. I'd never condone Nazism in my art," wrote Minaj on Twitter on November 11.

Anti-Defamation League National Director (and Holocaust survivor) Abraham H. Foxman issued the following statements regarding the controversial animated video featuring Minaj as the leader of a menacing army.

"Nicki Minaj's new video disturbingly evokes Third Reich propaganda and constitutes a new low for pop culture's exploitation of Nazi symbolism," said Foxman to FOX411 in a statement.

"The irony should be lost on no one that this video debuted on the 76th anniversary of Kristallnacht, the 'night of broken glass' pogrom that signaled the beginning of the Final Solution and the Holocaust."

In addition, some people went on Twitter to voice their opinions regarding Drake appearing as a Roman Catholic priest in the "Anti-Semitic" animated video despite his Jewish ancestry.

"I don't get how you're Jewish participating in a video that is clearly mimicking Nazi propaganda like are you dumb or do u not care?," wrote Twitter user Ice Princess on the popular social media network on November 9.

As of right now, Drake nor Lil Wayne (who also appeared in the cartoon video dressed as an entrepreneur) have not issued a comment regarding the controversy.

However, Minaj also issued another statement on social media concerning the bad publicity that currently surrounds three of the most popular rappers in the world.

"The artist who made the lyric video for 'Only' was influenced by a cartoon on Cartoon Network called 'Metalocalypse' & 'Sin City,'" wrote Minaj on Twitter on November 11.

"Both the producer, & person in charge of over seeing the lyric video (one of my best friends & videographer: A. Loucas), happen to be Jewish."

The "Only" song was released on October 28, 2014, which will also be included in Minaj's forthcoming The Pinkprint album that is scheduled to arrive in stores on December 15, 2014.
