Nexus 6 Release Date, Specs, Price, Rumors: Google Phone to be Released in October
Many tech experts are speculating that the new Google phone Nexus 6 is going to be released later this month.
According to Expert Reviews Tech Correspondent David Ludlow the smartphone, also called Nexus X or Motorola Shamu, "is likely to launch alongside Android L 5, which is expected before the end of the year."
Because of the good run of the previous Nexus flagships, fans are expecting to have a better experience with Nexus 6.
However, it is possible that the company will rename this phone. Instead of Nexus 6, which will follow the numerical chronology of the previous phones, they would have to rename it to Nexus X or Motorola Shamu because the name was already used by another model of the Blade Runner. If they use Nexus 6, there might be legal complications that might arise.
As the launch date closes in, there are more leaks that come up.
There was one leaked photo from Android Police of a user while on a commute. Though other photos might look a little blurry, this one was well-lit and clear. It also looked like the other Nexus 6 leak photos that were released months ago.
It is also believed that the new smartphone will look like the Moto X 2nd Gen phone with a 5.92in display. With this massive display, it will have a 2,5601x1,440 qHD screen with 489ppi pixel density.
This will make the handset sit around the benchmark of the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, which is at 5.7in display with the same resolution.
With the high resolution, the phone will have a big power source of 3,200mAH battery. It is also said that it will have a 13 megapixel rear camera and 2 megapixel front cam.
