Nexus 6 Release Date Rumors: Motorola to Manufacture, Possible November 2014 Launch

Nexus 6, the latest of Google's flagship smartphones, is expected to be released sometime in November, according to reports.

After Google Android engineering head David Burke decided to break his silence following rumors that the tech giant's smartphone brand is dead, rumors now lean the other way as avid Google fans await the latest in the company's Nexus line.

According to reports, the Nexus 6 will be manufactured by US company Motorola, unlike its previous models which were made by the Korean electronics company, LG.

Since Google is rumored to be set to release its highly anticipated Android 5.0 L update sometime in the next few months, electronics handheld consumers can expect the Nexus 6 to be released in Google's latest Android platform.

Aside from the highly coveted Android 5.0 L platform, the latest in the Nexus smartphone line is expected to have a 5.2-inch screen with a 2560 x 1440 Quad-HD resolution, and very powerful hardware which consists of a 2.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor, 32GB of internal storage and 3GB of RAM.

However, no official statement from Google has been released to confirm authenticity of the reported Nexus 6 specifications.

According to reports, the Nexus 6 predecessor, Nexus 5 has already stopped being manufactured. The fifth edition of Google's Nexus reportedly disappeared off the consumer electronics merchants' selling list completely and no longer has back-stock.

The fact that the Nexus 5 is no longer available anywhere on the market is being taken by some as a clear indication of Google's preparation for the nearing launch of the Nexus 6.
