Google's Nexus 5 and Sony Xperia T2 Ultra were released about six months apart; the latter is somewhat more expensive. While Nexus 5 is priced at $349 upwards, Xperia T2 Ultra is available for about $577 on the U.S. market.

Display and Design

The Nexus 5 sports a 4.95-inch True HD IPS+ capacitive touchscreen with a 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution. On the other hand, the Sony Xperia T2 Ultra has a 6-inch IPS LCD capacitive touch screen with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels.

In this category, the Nexus 5 emerges as the clear winner with 445 ppi pixels display density. In comparison, the Sony Xperia T2 Ultra has a 245 ppi pixel display density.
