Yankees vs Red Sox Live Stream: How to Watch MLB Free Online

The New York Yankees (12-9) will face off against the Boston Red Sox (10-12) tonight at Fenway Park in Boston. The game will start at 7:10 p.m. ET and can be watched online through live stream via the MLB link below.

The Bronx Bombers look to defeat their greatest rival when the two teams battle Thursday night, after they were previously defeated by the Red Sox by 5-1. Yankees starter Michael Pineda (2-2) suffered the loss last night and he was controversially tossed out of the game after the home plate umpire realized Pineda was using pine tar. He is expected to be suspended for 8-10 games over the incident.

Yankees are hoping their ace pitcher C.C. Sabathia (2-2) will outperform Felix Doubront tonight in the rubber game.

"It's been pretty good. It's something that I wanted to get back in my repertoire. We've been throwing it a lot, and it's been working for us," said Sabathia to reporters regarding his changeup pitch. "I'm throwing it as much as I did when I first got here. That's something I wanted to get back to. Not overthrow it, but just keep it in the mix, and it's been a good pitch for us."

Red Sox starter John Lackey (3-2) got the victory versus the Yankees after completing eight innings when he struck out 11 batters last night. Red Sox's starter Felix Doubront is attempting to lead Boston to the victory tonight when he opposes Sabathia.

"There has been less thought of mechanics and delivery rather than executing pitches. He's used the full assortment," said Red Sox skipper John Farrell to reporters about Doubront's performance this year."A few starts ago, he was so fastball oriented and it didn't work in his favor. He's returned back to normal pitch distribution and he has been more free of mind in his game plan."
