New York Rangers vs Montreal Canadiens Live Stream Free: Watch Online Game 2 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs

The New York Rangers (1-0) will fight the Montreal Canadiens (0-1) at the Belle Center tonight in Montreal. The game will start at 8 p.m. ET and can be watched online through live stream via the link provided below (free for subscribers).

The Rangers will battle Canadiens again on the road, after defeating Montreal by 7-2 on Saturday afternoon. In Game 1, Rangers superstar Henrik Lundqvist had 20 saves on May 17 in addition to Canada native Martin St. Louis totaling a goal and an assist to lead New York to the win.

So far, the Blue Shirts have four NHL championships (1927-28, 1932-33, 1939-40, 1993-94) but they need to defeat Montreal in order to advance to the Stanley Cup Finals to face the winner of the Western Conference series between the Chicago Blackhawks and the Los Angeles Kings.

"It was an emotional time for everyone, but the guys have been behind me and supported me," said St. Louis to reporters after the game. "My teammates are behind me and supporting me, and their effort was unbelievable. We feel really close right now and we're trying to keep feeding off that."

The Canadiens, meanwhile will be looking defend their home ice versus the Rangers when the two teams face off again in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

In Game 1, Rene Bourque and Lars Eller both scored a goal in a losing effort for "Les Habitants" over the weekend.

The Canadiens have an NHL record 24 titles and they are seeking to add another championship to the French speaking city this season.

"Good thing it's a seven-game series and we have a chance to get back in it on Monday," said Bourque to reporters. "I think we had a little bit of an emotional letdown after the Boston series.
