Rangers vs Kings Live Stream Free: Watch Game 1 NHL Stanley Cup Finals Online
The New York Rangers will battle the Los Angeles Kings at the Staples Center Wednesday night in Los Angeles.
The game will start at 8 p.m. ET and can be watched online through live stream via the link provided below (free for subscribers).
The Rangers will be looking to win their fifth Stanley Cup championship in club history, after eliminating the Canadiens by the score of 1-0 on May 29.
In Game 6 on Thursday night, Rangers All-Star goalie Henrik Lundqvist had 18 saves, which allowed him to surpass Mike Richter for most playoff wins (42) in franchise history. Dominic Moore, the lone goal, helped New York advance to the final round of the 2014 postseason.
"It's been tough," said Lundqvist to reporters. "You have so many highs. You have a few lows where you're questioning a lot of things, but then you just have to make up your mind, you can't have any excuses. I don't think I've been more determined to win a hockey game. To put ourselves in a spot where we can play for the Cup is extremely special."
Meanwhile, The Kings will be seeking to clinch their second ever Stanley Cup championship this postseason after eliminating the defending champs the Chicago Blackhawks from postseason contention by 5-4 in overtime on July 1. In Game 7, Alec Martinez scored the game winning goal for the Kings in order to face the Rangers in the final round.
So far, the only time Kings won the Stanley Cup was during the 2011-12 campaign.
"We've battled back so many times this year and so many times in these playoffs, we said, 'Why not again today?'" said Kings' player Justin Williams to reporters after the game. "It was a total team effort, every single guy here giving everything they've got."
