The New York Knicks (21-40) will face off against the Minnesota Timberwolves (30-29) at the Target Center tonight in Minneapolis. The game will start at 8:00p.m. ET and can be watched online through live stream via the link provided below (free for subscribers).

Star power forward/center Kevin Love has the Minnesota Timberwolves looking capable of creating a playoff run. However, the Knicks are running out of words to describe a season that has crumbled into one of the most unsatisfactory in franchise history.

Minnesota looks to win their seventh win in their last eight games as it begins a major four-game homestand tonight against a plummeting New York squad hoping to prevent an eighth game losing streak.

The Knicks were only 2 1/2 games out of the East's No. 8 spot at the All-Star break despite their terrible performances all season long, while the Timberwolves trailed six games back and in 10th in the West.

New York has now dropped to 6 1/2 out of the final playoff spot with a seven-game losing streak, while Minnesota has won six of their last seven games to make up one game on the West's eighth seed.

After finishing a successful 4-1 road trip with a 132-128 victory versus the Denver Nuggets on Monday night, the Timberwolves believe they have an opportunity to compete in what appears to be a four-team race for the Western Conference's last three playoff spots.

The Knicks have allowed an average of 112.1 points during their slide, getting outscored and outhustled in the paint by 15.7 per game. In addition, they held the Detroit Pistons to 39 first-half points and led by five at halftime two nights ago, but then surrendered 57 points after halftime in the 96-85 loss at the Palace of Auburn Hills.

"I'm running out of comments," said Carmelo Anthony to reporters after the game. Anthony has been averaging at least 32 points per game since the All-Star break.
