New Huawei Honor Smartphone News: Upcoming Device to Have Sliding Camera
Last month, the Chinese multinational tech company Huawei released its flagship smartphone, Huawei Honor 7 in its domestic market and it was followed by the launch of the new Huawei G8 handset. According to latest reports, the Chinese tech firm is now planning to release another Honor handset that may come with a sliding camera.
Quoting a report in GSM Arena, Christian Today states that the upcoming device currently dubbed as the Huawei ATH-AL00 recently passed through China's certification authority TENAA. The publication further states that the new handset is likely to be a new product line under Huawei's Honor series.
As the camera of the Huawei ATH-AL00 can slide up from the back, it can also be used as a front-facing camera. However, not much information about the new smartphone is available as of now. While images provided by TENAA reveal how the phone looks like, the company is yet to reveal the specifications of the upcoming phone.
The report in GSM Arena further state that the new phone may also boast a fingerprint scanning technology; and similar to its predecessors, it may also pack a Kirin chipset. Meanwhile, Phone Arena reports that the soon-to-be-released purported smartphone might also come with a 3GB or 4GB RAM under the hood.
According to Android Central, Huawei is expected to launch its new Honor 7 smartphone in the United Kingdom on Aug. 27. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer is also likely to release a few other new devices this year, counting the Huawei Nexus.
It is expected that the Huawei Nexus smartphone will pack Qualcomm's Snapdragon 820 processor and may feature a 5.7-inch display screen coupled with a QHD pixel resolution. According to reports, the Huawei Nexus is expected to run on Google's latest Android M operating system (OS).
Meanwhile, the Huawei G8 smartphone released by the company recently comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor, is equipped with a massive 3,000 mAh battery unit, a 13-megapixels rear-facing camera, alongside a 5.5-inch display screen with full high-definition resolution.
