New Harry Potter Book Plot Spoilers: JK Rowling Releases New 'Harry Potter' Story
It has been seven years since J.K Rowling wrapped up the popular Harry Potter series with her seventh and final book, Deathly Hallows. As noted and famed for the popularity and worldwide spread of the series, Rowling has recently provided fans with a brief story of Harry and his cohorts, now in their 30's.
Written from the perspective of the brash and abrasive reporter Rita Skeeter, the story gives readers insight into the lives and careers of Dumbledore's Army/Order of the Phoenix members. Harry, Ron, Hermione, Krum, Luna and Neville, are the centralized characters in the new story, simple because they are the most popular.
While the short story gave readers a pleasant and nostalgic trip back into the realm of magic wands and broomsticks, some are led to believe that this signifies an upcoming continuation to the series.
However, recent evidence about the author's literary activity suggests otherwise. J.K Rowling's latest novel is crime fiction in genre and part of the The Cormoran Series.
Her recently released The Silkworm comes as the sequel to The Cuckoo Calling, all of which are published under the pen-name, Robert Galbraith. As it stands now, it seems as though the popular writer will continue with her new series and leave Harry Potter behind.
Rowling's current involvement with the Harry Potter series extends only as far as to collaborate with production about a spin-off film. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is based off another Rowling story which focuses on the mystical creatures of the Harry Potter universe.
