"New Girl" Premiere "All In" Episode Review: Jess and Nick Pick Up Where They Left Off in Transitional Episode [ONLINE STREAM]

Nick and Jess pick up right where they left off in season 2 in the premiere episode of "New Girl" season 3. The premiere episode of season 3 featured Nick and Jess finally able to show their true feelings for each other, but not without a few snags. The new couple decided that they needed some alone time in the season 3 premiere, so they left on an adventure for Mexico. Their chemistry here was just as strong as it was in season 2, but the two struggled with the idea of living with their two roommates after they began their relationship.

The best parts of the premiere episode of "New Girl" came from Winston with his "puzzle dilemma." When he was dragged into Mexico by Jess he discovered that he was color blind and that was why he couldn't solve any of the puzzles. Schmidt added the great line, "Winston, if you think your shoes are brown, then what color do you think you are?" Overall, the episode was pretty tame and didn't push any boundaries too far. It looks like the writers of "New Girl" were just trying to get the audience back in the swing of things before they got to the meat of the season.
