New Artist Victoria Griffith Releases Radio Single, "Don't Waste The Heartache"
"Don't Waste The Heartache," the second single from Wellspring in the Wilderness from new artist Victoria Griffith, is going for adds today to Christian Inspirational radio stations throughout the U.S. The song was written by Michael Puryear, who also produced the project, and Geoff Thurman.
The single follows Griffith's No. 1 radio hit, "I Place My Trust In You," which claimed the top spot on the Christianradiochart.com chart. "I Place My Trust In You" was the debut single from Wellspring in the Wilderness, which released independently March 5.
"This is an exciting time for me! I am blessed to be able to release a second single," says Griffith. "'Don't Waste the Heartache' speaks to a world that is full of heartbreak, and the hope that we can find in Jesus. I cannot wait to see what others think of this song"”it has become one of my favorites on the album and I hope listeners find hope in it."
Griffith's success with her new CD comes after a circuitous life path that included learning she was pregnant while recording the 10-song CD, followed soon after by the news that she had a brain tumor which required immediate removal. Thankfully, Griffith emerged successfully on the other side with a riveting testimony, a healthy baby, a clean bill of health and a CD filled with songs that exude hope and grace, perfectly showcasing the singer's stunning, country-inflected vocals.
